NEW FACTORY LICENCE - PROCEDURE

"No building or structure for a factory be constructed, re-constructed, extended or taken in to use as factory or part of a factory unless previous permission in writing is obtained from the chief inspector."

 

Documents required for Registration and grant of factory licence: 

  • Form-1A (Application for approval of plans and for permission to construct/extend/or take in to use any building as a factory);

  • Form-2 (Certificate of stability);

  • Form-4 (Application for registration and grant or renewal of licence for the year .....and notice of occupation in section 6&7);

  • Treasury challan as a proof of fees of licence ( Fees credited to govt. treasury under state head a/c "0230-Labour & Employment". 

  •  (104) fees realised under the factories act 1948.);

  • Drawings for factory Licence;

  • DIC registration;

  • Land allotment letter;

  • pollution control NOC;

  • List of Directors, memorandum of association (for company); or Partnership deed (for partners) or proprietor letter;

  • A flow chart of the manufacturing process to be carried on there, with a brief description of the process in its various stages;

  • Details of materials, intermediates and finished products to be processed with the particulars of their harmful effects to the health of workers and the remedial measures, their quantity and the storage details of each;

  • Details of pressure plants and re-actors to be installed thereat;

  • An duly stamped and self addressed envelope.
